Handover Ceremony
For Sec4s & 5s, CCA will stand down permanently due to prepration for 'O' or 'N' levels examinations on 1st April 2010. The last practice for Sec4s & 5s will be on 30th March 2010, Tuesday. You guys will officially step down on 1st April 2010.
For Sec1s to 3s, CCA will stand down temporarily due to preparation for mid year examinations on 17 April 2010. The last practice for Sec1s to 3s before mid year will be on the 17 April 2010, Saturday.
Handover Ceremony will be on 2nd April 2010, Good Friday Public Holiday. This is the soft copy of the letter to parents for the handover ceremony:
Attire: Casual (NOT smart casual)
There will be sectional lunch/outing organised by the newly-appointed SICs before the handover ceremony. They were tell you the details of the lunch/outing by next tuesday. After the sectional lunch/outing, they will bring you to the venue of the handover cermony.
During the handover ceremony, there will be an exchange of gifts (tradition). New & old committee please get ready gifts for your seniors/juniors. The gifts are for the seniors whose post that you are going to take over or the juniors who is taking over your post. Non-committee people are also welcomed to buy gifts for your graduating seniors! :)
We hope all TMSCO members can attend the handover ceremony :)
P.S. There will still be saturday full orchestra practice on 3rd April 2010, 745-11am.

THE ORCHESTRA
Temasek Secondary Chinese Orchestra (TMSCO) was established in the 2000.
It expanded from a plucked string ensemble to a full-fledged orchestra in the year 2001.
Under the baton of Mr Cheng Chung Hsien, TMSCO enjoyed a successful flight achieving promising results in the SYF Central Judging between April 2002 to September 2008.
Now having Mr Liu Bin leading this army, TMSCO will definitely continue to strive for excellence and is determined to scale to even greater heights.
The orchestra now consists of over 90 enthusiastic members, with us six professional instructors.
