[EDIT EDIT: For the benefit of those who don't know, the ties must be plain coloured. Thanks. Therefore, no school ties are allowed.]

[EDIT: There's one small shop that sells ties along TAMPINES INTERCHANGE, just outside "This Fashion", you guys can consider getting your ties from there, I think it's selling at $3 to $5.]

DRESSCODE FOR UPCOMING PERFORMANCE AT VIVOCITY ON 25TH JULY.

Dresscode: Full Black Costume with Respective Coloured Ties.

I believe the Sec2s and Sec3s, you should know what it means.

For those who don't know what it means, it is:
1. Black long sleeve shirt/blouse with collar (no 3/4 allowed)
2. Black long pants (no 3/4, skinnies, jeans, leggings allowed)
3. Black court shoes (for girls) and black shoes (for boys) (no other shoes except those 2 mentioned are allowed)

This should be easy to get. Haha. You can ask your 'experienced' seniors if you have any questions.

Ties:
Bowed strings: Blue
Plucked strings: Red
Woodwind: Green
Cello Bass: Purple
Percussion: Yellow/Orange

How to get them?

Option 1: Borrow from your graduated Sec4s seniors/alumnis (Alumni should be wearing white ties.)

Option 2: Buy it yourself.
Recommended place to get cheap and good ones: Raffles Place, Arcade Centre, Second Floor, the tie shop is opposite POSB bank, selling at $5.

Option 3: Send an sms to JINGJIE (which is me), or tag on the CO blog, including your name, section and your tie colour in the message or tag AND I'll get the respective ties for you. (Payment will be made at a later date.)

This costume you will have to use it again for your entire CO life, which means until you graduate, so don't worry you will not wear it just once.

THE JUDGES' COMMENTS :D (Sorry they're in chinese, lol.)

ENJOY :D

[EDIT: PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL FULL ORCHESTRA PRACTICES WILL BE CHANGED TO THURSDAY 1-4PM FOR THE JUNE HOLIDAYS. ]

Hi all.

In view of the H1N1 situation, tomorrow's (Saturday, 6th june) practice will be cancelled.

However, there is still practice next tuesday. And from next tuesday onwards, students who come for CCA must bring thermometer. Temperature taking exercise will be held in your respectice sections. Thus it is the job of the SICs (Sectionals-in-charge) to organise your section on that day.

SICs, kindly pass this message to ALL the members in your section and ensure that they have received this message.

Also, ALL the saturdays practice will be changed to thursday, 1 to 4pm only for this june holiday. In conclusion, for this june holiday, practices will be held on tuesday (refer to schedule) and thursday (1 to 4pm).

Due to the H1N1 situation, students who go back to school on saturdays will have to be screened. We'll have to queue and this is quite troublesome. Hence, saturday practices are changed to thursday, only for this june holiday.

By the way, our instructors will be back next tuesday.

Seeya! Keep yourself fit and healthy! Drink lots of water!! :D

I've spent 8hours writing this new blog skin, not happy meet outside we fight. LOL

Haha anyways, this place look a lot happier now ((:
YAY! No more TMSCemO

Enjoy and do come back often to stare at this skin for a while, cos it's all hand written by your cute and adorable retired VP <3

HEHEHHEEEEE =D

btw, Red Colour is AUSPICIOUS, not Chinese New Year-cious. ARGGGH.
It's the colours of DareDevil. Shut up!((:

P.S. DELETE YOUR INTERNET EXPLORER 7/8, IT SUCKS. Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Opera ftw.

LOL

YAY!

Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Opera 是大赢家。

THE ORCHESTRA

Temasek Secondary Chinese Orchestra (TMSCO) was established in the 2000.
It expanded from a plucked string ensemble to a full-fledged orchestra in the year 2001.
Under the baton of Mr Cheng Chung Hsien, TMSCO enjoyed a successful flight achieving promising results in the SYF Central Judging between April 2002 to September 2008.
Now having Mr Liu Bin leading this army, TMSCO will definitely continue to strive for excellence and is determined to scale to even greater heights.
