NUS EXAMINATION ON 1DEC
Route:
1. Report to foyer at your respective reporting timings.
2. Proceed to learning hub (holding room).
3. Proceed to exam room.
I assume all of you guys have brought your instrument home as the drying yard is unavailable because there's exam going on in the art room. Also bring your instrument home after the exam with you as the drying yard is unavailable too.
Exam venues:
Student centre: Pipa, Liuqin, Zhongruan, Erhu (Siqi, Xavier, Amanda, Edwin, Janice, Amelia, Michelle, Shi Jing, Jeanne, Judea, Shu Ling, Brandon, Jocelyn, Yi Jia, Faith)
Art room: Yangqin, Dizi, Sheng, Cello, Gu Zheng, Suona, Erhu (Hui Wai, Cheng Yin, Wang Yue, Hwee Jing, Samantha)
Things needed to bring: Instrument, Exam Scores, Student card/Ez-link (in case) for verification
CO break is from 2-28Dec. CO resumes on 29Dec 2-6pm Sectionals. Those who did not pay CO fund $10 please do so on 29Dec.

For those who did not attend debrief today.
1. Those taking NUS grading exam but have not received the orange piece of paper please stay back on saturday after TMS open house.
2. There's open house rehearsal this friday 20nov2009, from 9am to 12pm for OPEN HOUSE PERFORMERS ONLY. Afternoon grading classes will be as per normal.
3. OPEN HOUSE is on this saturday 21nov2009, every CO member is supposed to report to art room at 830am.
4. Please hand in the CO CAMP consent form to your SICs on this saturday. Should you lost it or did not receive it, you can print out a copy (see below).

And, the Updated CO CAMP SCHEDULE is as above. The one you're given is the outdated one. CO CAMP ends at 1pm on 25nov2009.
PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT NO home clothes are allowed, and slippers will only be allowed when bathing and before you go to bed ONLY.
For individual performances within sections, the SICs will be in charged.
Requirements:
1. Each student is to prepare a 3-5min performance, choice of 1 or 2 songs that they are required to play in the grading examinations.
2. Before the start of the performance, students are required to greet the audience and state the song that they are going to play. (To be mentally prepared for the examinations)
3. Exception of Bass and Percussion which will be performing in groups.

Every CO member will be involved in the open house. Other than the people at the booth, the rest of the CO members will be walking around the school, promoting CO to the students and parents by giving out CO flyers. While promoting CO, CO members will also encourage these students and parents to visit the CO Booth for more information.

THE ORCHESTRA
Temasek Secondary Chinese Orchestra (TMSCO) was established in the 2000.
It expanded from a plucked string ensemble to a full-fledged orchestra in the year 2001.
Under the baton of Mr Cheng Chung Hsien, TMSCO enjoyed a successful flight achieving promising results in the SYF Central Judging between April 2002 to September 2008.
Now having Mr Liu Bin leading this army, TMSCO will definitely continue to strive for excellence and is determined to scale to even greater heights.
The orchestra now consists of over 90 enthusiastic members, with us six professional instructors.
