Please TRY and plan your holidays according to the date given. If you are going overseas and are missing CO practices, please produce a letter from your parents and hand it to the teachers-in-charge or the SICs before you leave for your holiday.
Right, for all those who didn't turn up today, please get your syf photos/medal/certificate from your SIC or your friend who has kept for you today.
AND our CO collar pin has arrived! So let's standardise and pin it on the left side of collar. Hahahaha.
According to the schedule given to you guys, there will be individual classes next friday (18/9/09), after which it will be a 3-week break and individual classes will resume on 16/10/09. Percussion students please follow according to the schedule given to you guys.
CCA (sectionals & full orchestra) will resume on 07/11/09. So it's a long break, therefore bring home your instruments and practise!

Hi all, please help to spread this message to all the sec4s in TMSCO. Haha.
ALL Sec4s take note:
Please try to come back next saturday, 12 september from around 1030am-1200pm. Our CO will have full orchestra practice as usual from 0830am-1030am.
After which, there will be a badminton match within our CO(Instructors VS students) to be held in the hall. (All members must go and support!!)
After the badminton match has ended, there will be an informal presentation of SYF photos (if ordered), certificates and medal for ALL sec1to4 SYF participants (PERFORMERS/RESERVES/STUDENT HELEPRS!!!). Thats why we need all Sec4s to be around to get their medals/certificates/photos etc.
If you cannot turn up on that day, please ask someone else to collect for you. Because 12 sep is our last CO practice for the term, after which CCA would stand down.
So your medal/certificates/photos will be locked up in the drying yard until CCA resumes which is a month later if nobody collects for you..

THE ORCHESTRA
Temasek Secondary Chinese Orchestra (TMSCO) was established in the 2000.
It expanded from a plucked string ensemble to a full-fledged orchestra in the year 2001.
Under the baton of Mr Cheng Chung Hsien, TMSCO enjoyed a successful flight achieving promising results in the SYF Central Judging between April 2002 to September 2008.
Now having Mr Liu Bin leading this army, TMSCO will definitely continue to strive for excellence and is determined to scale to even greater heights.
The orchestra now consists of over 90 enthusiastic members, with us six professional instructors.
